Photoshop Tip: Big Type Preview

When you’re choosing a font from the drop down list on the tool options bar, Photoshop will display the name of the font with a small sample alongside it.
You can change this type preview size by going to the menu:  
Edit->Preferences->Type and Change The “Font Preview Size” to Huge.

Photoshop Mobile: Photoshop iPhone App (free)

Today Adobe Systems did release, for the Europeans, their Photoshop IPhone App . The app is available free of charge at the iPhone store and allows users the ability to edit and add simple effects on photos with their iPhone. You can crop, rotate, change colors, give a glow with soft focus, etc. More info and download here

Photoshop tip: Heal and Clone Between Documents

You can use the Healing brush and Clone Stamp tools between two open documents:  use Alt + click (mac Option+ click) in the source document and then clone in the destination document.

Photoshop Tip: Previewing Type

While type in the image is selected and you want to change the font or size…, the selected type is annoying to preview.
Press Ctrl + H  (mac: Command + H)  this will hide the selected “reversed out”.
To invert, press again Ctrl + H.

Photoshop tip: Save for web

When you are in de Save for Web dialog box press the Alt key (Option key for Mac) the Cancel button will change to Reset and the Done button to Remember Click Remember if you want to save the current settings as default.
