Photoshop Shortcut: Close all the open windows

If you hold shift while you click “File -> close”, Photoshop will close all the open windows at the same time.

Photoshop shortcut: Drag layer to the center of an image

 

You can drag a layer on to any other opened images in Photoshop and it will copy it as a layer (better than copy and paste image). Holding down Shift while moving it will snap the image right on the center of the other opened image.

Photoshop Action/Script : Extend the canvas size, add signature and exif info

This is a variation on my action/script that I wrote earlier (click here to view post)  This version is with canvas extension, signature and exif info !

The script is provided as freeware with no warranty. Free to use and change!

How to install:
1. Make a folder under c:\ with the name: SignatureAction
2. Download the files “Add_Signature.js” and “VIERO’s Signature.atn“, place them in the c:\SignatureAction folder
3. Open the file  “Add_Signature.js” with notepad and change the area “Insert here your signature”
4. Double click the file “VIERO’s Signature.atn”
5. Open your photograph and run the VIERO’s Signature action.

ATTENTION !
-This version only works with the English Photoshop CSx  
-If you did install my first version, just replace the ‘Add_Signature.js’ in c:\SignatureAction with the new one.

 

Photoshop: how to blur portraits

English
1 look at the picture size of your photograph, for example 12mb
2 copy your photograph to a new layer (ctrl + j)
3 place a gaussian blur of 12 pixels on this new layer (ref the 12mb)
4 change the layer mode to lighten and set the layer opacity to 30%
5 copy layer from 4 (ctrl + j)
6 change the mode of this new layer to darken and set the layer opacity to 60%
7 place the 2 layers that you created in a group an add a mask to it
8 remove the blur from the eyes, eyebrows, lips and nostrils

Dutch
1 kijk naar de grootte van je foto, bvb 12mb
2 kopieer je foto naar een nieuwe laag (ctrl + j)
3 zet een gaussiaans vervagen van 12 pixels op deze nieuwe laag
4 verander de modus naar lichter en trek de dekking terug naar 30%
5 dupliceer de laag in punt 4 (ctrl +j)
6 verander de modus van deze nieuwe laag naar donker en trek de dekking op naar 60%
7 plaats de 2 bijgemaakte lagen in een groep en voeg aan deze groep een masker toe
8 verwijder de blur van de ogen, wenkbrauwen, lippen en neusvleugels
