The Ghent Festivities take place during the week of 21 July every year in the historic centre of the city of Ghent, in the heart of Flanders (Belgium). 10 days of free partying, on various squares: music, international street theatre and puppet busker acts, theatre performances, guided tours and so much more.

1. Open your photograph
2. Select your background color (this will be the color of your frame)
3. Use ctrl + A and then ctrl + T to select and transform the photograph
4. Select this icon
in the toolbar (you can find it between the icons width and hight)
5. Double click in the width box and press the down arrow button to resize your photograph
6. If you like the frame, press enter
7. Your photograph has the same format and has a frame with your background color !

2. Adjust the Hue/Saturation (ctrl+u) -> set saturation to -70
3. Adjust the Exposure (Image > Adjustments > Exposure)
exposure > 1 / offset > -0,3400 / gamma correction > 1,75
4. Duplicate your layer (ctrl + j)
5. Add a lens blur (filter > blur > lens blur)
6. Add a mask on the blur layer (5) and brush the parts you want to sharpen.
7. Create a new layer and fill it with black, set the opacity to 55%
8. With the eraser tool erase the center of the layer (7) to darken the edges.
9. Flatten the image to a new layer (shift + ctrl + alt + e)
10. Add noise (filter > noise > add noise) amount 4.5 -> uniform
11. Change the color balance (ctrl + b) for cyan and blue
12. Select black as background color
13. With the crop tool select your photograph and use Alt to expand your canvas (up and down) + enter.
