Photoshop: How to remove noise.

1 Change your photograph from RGB to Lab Color (Image -> Mode -> Lab Color)
2 Go to the channels and select channel “a”
3 Set a blur on this channel  (Filter->Blur->Gaussian Blur, settings depend of your photograph)
4 Go to the channels and select channel “b”
5 Set the same blur on this channel (as in 3), you can use ctrl + f
6 Change the color mode to RGB (Image->Mode->RGB Color)
7 Sharpen your photograph, apply an unsharp mask (Filter->Sharpen->Unscharp mask)

Photoshop Shortcut: Drag with the Marquee tool

With the Marquee tool, drag on the document (do not release the mouse), hold down Spacebar, it will let you drag the undefined selection, release spacebar and you can drag further.

Go to the menu Help , hold ctrl and choose About Photoshop CS3

Here comes the trick:
-take an screenshot of this screen
-load it into PS cs3
-adjust the levels by choosing menu -> images -> ajustments -> levels, drag the highlights to the left
-look at the pill :-)
